Alexandra’s mother contacted me and took me up on a free high school senior portrait session promotion I was having.  Alexandra enjoys playing the violin so I had her bring it along with her to use in some shots.  We had a blast playing around and getting some great shots.  I posted a few of them below for you all to enjoy.  I wish her all the best in her last year of high school.  It’s almost done Alex, enjoy it.     

Well I have been living in Italy for exactly one year now, but things have been so busy at work I haven’t had a lot of opportunities to travel.  I am working on correcting that though.  Last week the family and I finally went on a road trip to the famed Tuscany area of Italy.  Yeah how great is that to just jump in the car and take a little drive to Tuscany. : )  Well we went to Pisa and saw the leaning tour of course and walked around the city of Lucca.  We even went to a Pinocchio theme park.  Apparently the creator of the book Pinocchio is from the region and they made a kind of cheesy park to honor him.  Oh well my son enjoyed it. 

I took my little Canon G9 camera with me so I wouldn’t have to tote around my big bag and DSLR cameras.  That little thing works great.  It is fully manual so there is not a heck of a lot of difference between the two other than one is a heck of a lot nicer.  I have posted a few of the images below.    

Anyway we had a great time.  It was really nice to get out and see things.  For those of you living overseas or just in the states make sure you get out and spend some time traveling.  There are so many great things to see in the world there is no reason to keep yourself stuck around the house.  Get out and enjoy it.
