Well it has been more than a day since my San Diego Chargers went down and I am still bummed about it. I really thought they would be able to pull it off. I have to give up for Philip Rivers though. I had no idea his knee was so bad off. For those that may not know he is having surgery to repair a torn ACL, and he made it through the game on Sunday with it torn. He had also had surgery to remove some cartilage last Monday just so he could play this weekend. He apparently is a pretty tuff guy. To bad LT couldn’t go on Sunday, but Michael Turner is not a bad guy to fall back on. Wow going into the Championship game with your three top players all hurt is just not a good situation. Oh well they are a young team and now that they are playing with confidence under Norv’s coaching they will easily be back next year. I finally see a Super Bowl title in our near future!! On a bright note they covered the spread so they didn’t completely let me down and lined my pockets with a little extra cash. You always have to find the bright side of life. To all you Charger fans out there have faith; we will get them next year.

Well I am trying to open my horizons up a little. One area of my business I really want to try and work on this year is portraits. I have been doing a few portrait sessions and modeling shoots lately. Here are a few shots I did with a friend of mine, Julie. We got some great stuff and we are going to get together again in the near future. It is great to have friends you can just call when you want to play around and do some fun shoots. I will have some family photos and modeling sessions to post up for you to see here soon. If you are interested in a modeling, family portrait, or intimate (boudoir) session for your spouse please feel free to drop me a line and we can make sure you are taken care of.

Well I am finally going to take the big plunge and place an ad in a bridal magazine. Well it is not exactly in the magazine. The March 2008 Bridal Guide Magazine will include a CD with it. On the CD will be lots of great information for brides and grooms to help with planning their big day. One of the items will be a featured photographer for each state. I am not sure how the selection process worked or if it was just dumb luck, but I was chosen to be the sole feature photographer for Nevada. So, if you see the magazine in March pick one up to get some great information and be sure to check out my ad on the CD.

Well it is here, 2008! Another year has come and gone. It was a good one for me. This year should be good as well. In May of this year I will finish the long and drawn out process of finally getting my college degree. I graduate from UNLV with a degree in Workforce Education in May. It has taken me a couple different schools and a lot longer than most to finish, but it will be good to have it. My main focus in 2008 will be to really concentrating on my business and take my art to a new level. I hope you will stick around to see how it develops. One of my New Years resolutions is to make a blog entry at least once a week, so there should be plenty for everyone to stop by and see in 2008. To all my friends and family I hope this year is even better than your last and is filled with as much love, peace, and prosperity as you can handle.
