I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas out there. We had a good one here. One of our big gifts this year for the big kid in the family and the two little ones was the Nintendo Wii. I can’t believe how hard those things still are to find. Santa also brought new bikes to Shelbi and Devin. I attached a couple shots of them trying them out.
I would like to wish everyone a happy holiday and make a couple small requests. One is to remember there are many out there less fortunate than us at this time a year and to keep them in your thoughts and prayers and help out in any way you can. The second is to keep my fellow brothers and sisters in arms that are away from their families serving for our freedom in your thoughts and prayers. As a 19 year military member and someone who just got back from Iraq myself I can attest to how hard it is to be away from family and friends. Their families are not only having to endure the separation, but the added pain of it being during the biggest family holidays. As you sit for dinner with your family and friends give a thought and prayer to all the families and love ones that are only able to say Merry Christmas through an email or if they are really lucky a 15 minute phone call. From experience I can tell you they will appreciate the thought.
